Dr. Kelly LaZor is a south OC native who became interested in physical therapy after a knee injury while attending El Toro High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, graduating Suma Cum Laude from CSU Fullerton. She worked as an NCCPT certified personal trainer during her undergrad, then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University, which remains the oldest continually accredited physical therapy program in the country.
After graduation, Dr. LaZor spent 6 years in outpatient orthopedics as the head of the physical therapy department in a workers compensation clinic. There she became an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and taught physical therapy to students in a clinical setting. After having a baby in 2016, she sought a new job closer to home and began working at Professional Physical Therapy in 2018.
Dr. LaZor enjoys spending time with her son Alex, playing with her dogs, and continuing to teach and mentor physical therapy students.
