Kelly LaZor PT, DPT
Dr. Kelly LaZor is a south OC native who became interested in physical therapy after a knee injury while attending El Toro High School. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, graduating Suma Cum Laude from CSU Fullerton. She worked as an NCCPT certified personal trainer during her undergrad, then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Chapman University, which remains the oldest continually accredited physical therapy program in the country.
After graduation, Dr. LaZor spent 6 years in outpatient orthopedics as the head of the physical therapy department in a workers compensation clinic. There she became an APTA credentialed clinical instructor and taught physical therapy to students in a clinical setting. After having a baby in 2016, she sought a new job closer to home and began working at Professional Physical Therapy in 2018.
Dr. LaZor enjoys spending time with her son Alex, playing with her dogs, and continuing to teach and mentor physical therapy students.
Rebecca Wohlfarth COTA/L
Rebecca Wohlfarth is a COTA/L who graduated from Loma Linda University in 1999. Specializing in hand therapy she has been a valued member of the Professional PT team since 2004. With over 2 decades of experience, Rebecca brings a wealth of expertise to her practice, particularly in helping patients recover and regain function in their hands; always with a smile and a laugh.
Outside of her professional work she enjoys spending time at the beach, working out, reading, crafting and time with her family.
Mike Maga PT, Director
Mike is a native southern Californian and Graduated from Fountain Valley High School. He then attended Westmont College on a soccer scholarship where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Kinesiology. He continued his education at Azusa Pacific University receiving his Master of Physical Therapy. He went on to train for 4 years in an Orthopedic Manual Therapy residency at the Ola Grimsby Institute, earning a certification in Orthopedic Manual Therapy and Scientific Therapeutic Exercise Progressions.
Mike initially worked in a skilled nursing facility and developed a special interest for patients who have balance disorders. This interest led him to take multiple continuing education classes developing an expertise in helping people with orthopedic balance difficulties. He wanted to expand his knowledge of exercise and received his Certification in Applied Functional Science from the Gray Institute. His background is focused on differential diagnosis, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, patient education, and balance.
Omar Bracamontes PTA
Omar graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He worked as a personal trainer for 10 years, helping clients achieve their fitness and wellness goals. In 2020, he built on his passion for health and rehabilitation by earning his Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree from Cerritos College.
Omar’s a gym enthusiast who loves staying active. He enjoys time with his wife, an English teacher, and their 10-month-old son. They love traveling, hiking, and making the most of the outdoors. Omar’s also an avid sports fan, always cheering for the Dodgers, Rams, and Lakers. Whether working with patients, training in the gym, or exploring with the family, He approaches everything with energy, commitment, and a passion for helping others live healthier lives.
Amin Ghanavatzadeh MS, CES
Amin has been with Professional Physical Therapy since 2002. After attending high school locally, he went on to Saddleback where he played football for two years. He graduated from Long Beach State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. He then went on to receive a Master of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Rehabilitative Sciences. Amin is also nationally certified in personal training.
Kirstyn Namba, DPT
Kirstyn earned a Bachelors in Science degree in Human Movement Science with a minor in Psychology from Utah State University where she was a student-athlete on the softball team all four years. She later obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Chapman University.
Kirstyn became interested in Physical Therapy because she wanted to incorporate her love for sports into her professional career. Watching the positive impact that physical therapy had on her family and friends helped to solidify her passion. Sports have always been a big part of her life, predominantly revolving around baseball and softball. In high school, she also lettered in cross country and bowling.
Leah Woodside OTR/L, CHT
Leah earned her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from the University of St. Augustine and is a Certified Hand Therapist. She specializes in the rehabilitation of both post-acute and chronic conditions, with a focus on helping individuals regain function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they love.
Leah is passionate about empowering her clients through personalized care plans, adaptive strategies, and practical tools that support long-term success and independence.
Outside of the clinic, Leah enjoys reading, baking, paddle boarding and spending time with her nieces.
